The Chimera RPG® Beta rules were first introduced as the “Chimera Basic Rules” in 2011. With the release of the revised Chimera RPG® Basic and Core rules in 2018, we’ve renamed this ruleset to reflect its status as the published origin of the Chimera RPG®. As such, the "beta" line is officially discontinued, but in the interest of supporting existing players, we’ve opted to release this version under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license, which allows authors to share and adapt the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
